Cold and miserable!

Well, I guess that winter is officially here now.
Back to writing full-time, tucked up in front of the woodburner.

Still had to do a little gardening over the weekend though, mainly tucking things up for the winter like the Agapanthus and the Hebe. And cutting down the Lavatera in case the winds damage the stems.

Too cold to walk the dogs first thing, despite all their whining, will have to wait until it warms up a bit first, if it ever does today.

Have a good day, stay warm and safe.

Things coming in three's.

It's right what they say about things happening in three's. Just another 5 star received from USA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Thriller, November 8, 2010
This review is from: Impeding Justice (Kindle Edition)
I read this book on Authonomy and I have read over 600 books and this one stuck with me like glue. The Author draws you in holds you tight and sends you on an unforgettable ride. I love The MC'S and this is a can't put it down book, so I suggest you start it when you have no other plans...I HIGHLY recommend it, great for a gift too... Patricia aka Columbia
Layers of the Heart

Thanks Patricia.

Bloomin' heck can this day get any better?

Yet another five star review.
This review is from: Impeding Justice (Kindle Edition)
I first came across Impeding Justice on Authonomy--where the Harper Collins editor reviewing it as a Gold Star winner wrote, 'This is certainly one of the better manuscripts I've read through Authonomy'--and it's an absolute pleasure to see it now available to buy.

Mel Comley has written a page-turning thriller, perfect for holiday reading. The thing that stays most strongly with me is her villain, The Unicorn -- from the very beginning the reader knows here is a bad guy who is a worthy opponent.

Impeding Justice moves fast and there's action aplenty. If you're a fan of Jack Higgins (I'm thinking of the Sean Dillon series in particular) then I expect you'd find something here to tickle your fancy.

And, I promise, you won't forget The Unicorn.

Wow, thought I'd share my first 5 star review from the USA with you all.

Detective Inspector Lorne Simpkins loses her partner in a gun battle between the forces of justice and her nemesis, the Unicorn, a vicious, psychopathic murderer. Thus Comley begins a riveting tale of cat and mouse. Before her team can begin to mourn their colleague's death, the Unicorn calls, demanding ransom for the Houses of Parliament. He leaves false clues, weaving a web of deception. Then Simpkins discovers a mole in their midst. The texture of this tale is gritty and violent, our heroine unique in her acerbic yet heroic drive. The Unicorn has picked a fiery foe in this satisfying crime novel.

Be still my beating heart!! :-)
