Another couple of five star reviews.

This review is from: Impeding Justice (Kindle Edition)
Was not sure what I expected but loved this book it was fast paced from page one and did not let up, in fact i only downloaded it yesterday lunchtime and could not put it down I stayed up till 12.30 this morning to finish it, the characters were excellent even the bad guy was portrayed in such a way as to send shivers down the spine. Cannot wait for the sequel to see what happens next.

Mel Comley has written a first class thriller which grips from the first action packed page. Her characters are realistic, and the 'good' ones are easy to like and relate to, always, I think, important. Her plot is fast moving and exciting with lots of twists and turns. Thoroughly recommended!

Yet another five star review

I was first drawn to this book by the title, after seeing it mentioned in the Authors' forum, as I was seeking a present for my husband who likes crime fiction, which I don't (usually). I was disappointed at first to find it was not available in paperback (because it doesn't seem much like a present if you simply download a book). However, at least it gave me the opportunity to read it first on my own Kindle and I was plesantly surprised.
This book fully exploits the 3 major human emotions: love, fear and rage, with most of the others in between (jealousy, remorse, revenge, etc). For me, a book really stays in mind when I think back and cannot remember if it was indeed a book, or a film I once saw. That is how 'real' the characters seemed.
I still hope to buy a printed copy for my husband when it becomes available, as well as the sequel(s).

How fabulous.

Impeding Justice is a roller-coaster ride, along a high wire of intrigue, fast action and mayhem.

The threads of this lightning-paced thriller are seamlessly stitched together in Mel Comley's Impeding Justice when protagonist, Detective Inspector Lorne Simpkins, has to set her wits against the evil arch-villain, The Unicorn.

The cataclysmic ending brilliantly paves the way for a sequel.

Definately worth a read!

Ahhh! I'm blushing now.

******COMPETITION******* With a triple whammy prize...

Happy New Year to you all.

Last night I completed the first draft of the sequel to Impeding Justice, but I can’t think what to call it. At the moment it is called Running out of time.

So, whilst I spend a month editing it, I thought I’d ask the reading public if they had any ideas. The prize is a signed copy of both Impeding Justice 1 and 2 in paperback, with an acknowledgement for the winner in book two.

What do you think?

I don’t want to say too much about the book in case I give the game away about the ending of Impeding Justice, but I will tell you that the sequel features the same characters. Involves, theft of valuable pieces of art, Interpol and a chase through beautiful France.

Get your thinking caps on.
